Machair Posted April 11, 2023 Report Share Posted April 11, 2023 Could you describe your gut symptoms and how you treat them? I have small meals low carb and no food in the evening after 6pm. I still have bloating IBS type symptoms that swing from one extreme to the other and a general feeling of gut dysfunction. Peppermint oil tablets help as does avoiding fodmaps. MikeO Posted April 11, 2023 Report Share Posted April 11, 2023 Well i get the bloating and cramping and when things are bad have passed undigested food. When my blood sugar gets out of hand (high) is a stressor for me for sure. I also avoid the nightshade foods even potatoes will get to me. Because of diabetes i eat a low carb diet and try to limit my carbs at a meal to no more that 20 grams. as long as i stay consistent i have been ok.
