persephone
I sat in the library for an hour today in a hard back upright chair and by the end of the hour my head was very sore, and I was really thirsty. My neck was sore, my shoulders didn't feel right and neither did my back. I felt exhausted. I'm a bit worried about how to get rid of this, or lessen it.I thought maybe it was just cos I've been in hospital for almost a month, but when I think back on it, I've always had achy legs and just malaise after sitting in hard back upright chairs. I always prefer to sit cross legged or slumped in soft chairs. I don't think I'm just being lazy, but who knows? just wondered if this could be part of POTS or NCS? Any one else get like this with chairs?
Ernie
Hi,I cannot sit on a straight chair and most of the time I am reclining. If I sit straight I start to have all my POTS symptoms including headache and nausea.Ernie
morgan617
Sitting on any hard surface is a real killer for me. Backache, neck pain, headache, etc. morgan
Karen
I definitely cannot sit straight in a chair. I get very fidgety. It has to do with the blood not getting back to my head..or so I believe. So you are not alone!karen
