BelieverEM
What is the awareness color for dysautonomia? How about a logo? Do we have one? I'm looking to make ribbons. Thanks!Erin
issie
I don't know the answer to this. But, I vote for purple. It's supposed to be a healing color. And we all want that!!!!
handmadebyemy
i second purple!
potsgirl
another vote for purple. and i'd buy a ribbon if you end up making some. do we have a logo? if not, we should. maybe a poll is in order....
MightyMouse
I'm not certain that an official color has been chosen to represent dysautonomia; I will put a note in and ask Michelle if she knows. I know what when we made bracelets a few years ago, we used royal blue and used a single puzzle piece. Unfortunately a few years later, the "Autism Speaks" organization picked the same icon in a lighter color. Nina
BelieverEM
Choosing a unique combination of colors would work best if we don't already have a color. Chiari uses purple, but so do over a dozen other causes.
firewatcher
DYNA-Kids uses red and I've seen some ribbons using royal blue.
Guest humanb4monitor
SCARLET. DEEP DEEP SCARLET!

firewatcher
How about white at the top (due to lack of bloodflow) and deep scarlet on the bottom for pooling?
Simmy
I like Firewatcher's idea, white over a wavy scarlet. As for a logo, how about this:<----
hensor
My books "You know you have PoTS when..." are bright green
issie
My books "You know you have PoTS when..." are bright green I tried to find a book entitled this.....wasn't able to pull it up. Did you write it? What is it like?
heathmcev
Can't we just use the stop sign w/ "POTS" instead of STOP? I don't know who originally came up w/ it but it's fabulous! I'm a graphic designer... I could convert it into vector art for logo use...
BelieverEM
I love the white-fading into-scarlet idea. Can somebody design one? I'm no good on computer programs like that, but I'm guessing someone here is?
potsgirl
i really like this idea, too!
Simmy
Erin - I can easily create a background color of white fading down into scarlet, but could not find a ribbon shape into which to insert it, and my hand is not steady enough to freehand the outline (thanks, POTS). How would you produce the ribbons anyway?
Rachel
White fading into scarlet at the bottom sounds perfect for us! It describes us well, and it would be unique as far as ribbon colors go.
